Inter Mountain Peoples’ Education and Culture in Thailand Association (IMPECT)

The Inter Mountain Peoples’ Education and Culture in Thailand Association (IMPECT) is a non-government organization for the development of indigenous people and communities established in 1991 and focusing on joint work with local leaders for their mutual benefit at policy and genuine practice levels. The major goal of IMPECT is to support indigenous peoples in employing “dimensions of cultural values” as a basis for the development of indigenous organizations, communities and networks. One full-time position is currently being recruited: Project manager:

• Project name: Children & Youth Act for Peace [CYAP] Project
• Project sites: Chiangmai, Chiangrai, Maehongson, Nan, Tak, Kanchanaburi, and Phetburi Provinces
• Working period: Present - 30 June 2020

Qualifications

1. Female or male resident of Thailand
2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, social science, or other appropriate field.
3. Have qualified attitude, knowledge, and skills as follows;

3.1 Attitude

• Possesses leadership quality with a participatory management style;
• Is highly adaptable to various working cultures (private, government and NGO sectors);
• Can delegate responsibilities and promoting team spirit;
• Has the ability to listen and effectively coaches team members;
  • Knowledge
• Demonstrates understanding of system thinking (for component linkage), lateral thinking (for indicator assessment), gap analysis (for risk analysis), critical thinking (for scenario simulation) and work breakdown (for activity synthesis);
• Has a working knowledge of Project Cycle Management and Result-Based Management;
• Is well-versed in using Results-chain to track and coordinate project outputs, outcome and impact;
• Can guide and install a monitoring and evaluation system, as well as plans the routing of reporting routine;
• Can manage document flow and implementation process tracking for project evaluation;
  • Skills
• Is able to communicate, particularly writing in English;
• Is able to operate multiple mini-projects at the same time;
• Has management skill for time allocation, resource assignment and budget control;
• Is skillful with Logical Framework Analysis methodology;
• Knows how to use computer applications (MS Project would be a plus).

1. Understanding of child rights  and comply with IMPECT’s child protection policy

1. Ability to travel to all project sites in remote rural and border areas, and can work during weekends and holidays when required with time compensation arrangement.

Roles and Duties

1. Manage and supervise project operational staff, plans, and budgets in accordance with project objectives and goal together with the Project Director and relevant IMPECT administrative staff
2. Provide academic and technical support in planning, monitoring & evaluation of project progress
3. Analyze relevant documents and review policies and plans relevant to the promotion of child rights and development of potential of children and youth at national and international levels. In addition, review work concerning children & youth, human, and indigenous rights
4. Prepare reports in both Thai and English.
5. Translate documents and reports related to the project – Thai to English and English to Thai – and serve as interpreter as necessary.
6. Support activities to develop the potential of children and youth among partners and networks.
7. Assist in organizing processes for the summarization of project lessons from the experiences of project staff, participants, and stakeholders.
8. Handle English communication for the project secretariat, and responsible English communication with PCF-Thailand team.

Salary and benefits:

1. Salary of 28,000-32,000 baht per month, depending on qualifications
2. Expenses during onsite field visit are covered by the organization
3. Social security as well as health and accident insurance is provided
4. Project transportation is provided

               สมาคมศูนย์รวมการศึกษาและวัฒนธรรมของขาวไทยภูเขาในประเทศไทย (ศ.ว.ท.) หรือ                     Inter Mountain Peoples’ Education and Culture in Thailand Association (IMPECT) เป็นองค์กรเอกชนพัฒนาชาวไทยภูเขา (ชนเผ่าพื้นเมือง) ได้ริเริ่มดำเนินงานมาตั้งแต่ปลายปี 2534 เน้นการทำงานกับแกนนำชนเผ่าพื้นเมืองและเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวมของชนเผ่าพื้นเมือง ทั้งในระดับนโยบายและระดับปฏิบัติอย่างแท้จริง IMPECT มีเป้าหมายหลักขององค์กรเพื่อสนับสนุนให้ชนเผ่าพื้นเมืองใช้ “มิติคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม” เป็นรากฐานในการพัฒนาองค์กร ชุมชน และเครือข่ายตนเอง  ต้องการรับสมัครบุคลากรเข้าร่วมงาน 1 ตำแหน่ง ตามรายละเอียดดังต่อไปนี้

1. ผู้จัดการโครงการ (จำนวน 1 ตำแหน่ง)

โครงการ              พลังเด็กและเยาวชนร่วมส่งเสริมการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติ (CYAP)

พื้นที่ทำงาน         จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ แม่ฮ่องสอน ตาก เชียงราย น่าน กาญจนบุรี และเพชรบุรี

ระยะเวลา             เริ่มงานตั้งแต่วันที่ 2 กรกฎาคม 2561 ถึงวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2563 ( 24 เดือน)

ลักษณะงาน

1. ให้การสนับสนุนด้านวิชาการและงานเทคนิคในการวางแผน การติดตามและประเมินผลการดำเนินงานโครงการ
2. วิเคราะห์งานเอกสาร และทบทวนวรรณกรรมด้านนโยบายและแผนงานที่เกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมสิทธิเด็กและพัฒนาศักยภาพเด็กและเยาวชนในระดับชาติและนานาชาติ รวมถึงทบทวนรายงานสิทธิเด็ก สิทธิมนุษยชน และสิทธิชนเผ่าพื้นเมืองที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเด็กและเยาวชน
3. จัดทำรายงานโครงการทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ
4. แปลเอกสารและรายงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโครงการจากภาษาไทยเป็นอังกฤษ และจากภาษาอังกฤษเป็นไทย และทำหน้าที่เป็นล่ามได้ตามความจำเป็น
5. สนับสนุนการจัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาศักยภาพเด็กและเยาวชนของโครงการและของภาคีองค์กรและเครือข่ายที่เกี่ยวข้อง

1. 6. จัดกระบวนการถอดบทเรียนประสบการณ์การดำเนินงานโครงการร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่โครงการ และผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย

คุณสมบัติ

1. 1. เป็นหญิงหรือชาย มีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ในประเทศไทย
2. 2. จบการศึกษาปริญญาตรีขึ้นไป สาขาศึกษาศาสตร์ พัฒนาสังคม และสาขาอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง
3. มีทักษะการฟัง พูด อ่าน และเขียนภาษาอังกฤษและไทยในระดับดีเยี่ยม
4. 4. มีทักษะในการวางแผนโครงการ และการตรวจสอบรายงาน และสามารถวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล และวางแผนเชิงกลยุทธ์ได้
5. มีประสบการณ์ด้านการบริหารจัดการโครงการเชิงผลสัมฤทธิ์ (RB-PCM)
6. มีมนุษยสัมพันธ์ดี สามารถทำงานร่วมกับเด็กและเยาวชน คนทำงานที่มีความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม และสามารถทำงานภายใต้ความกดดันและปฏิบัติงานตามกรอบเวลาที่กำหนดได้
7. ยอมรับหลักการทำงานและปฏิบัติต่อเด็กอย่างเคารพในสิทธิอันพึงมีพึงได้ของเด็ก ตามนโยบาย            

“การปกป้องคุ้มครองสิทธิเด็ก” ของสมาคม IMPECT

1. 8. สามารถพิมพ์คอมพิวเตอร์ ไทย/อังกฤษ ใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Word, Excel ได้คล่อง และใช้งานแอปพลิเคชันต่างๆของ Google และเครือข่ายต่างๆได้ดี
2. สามารถเดินทางเข้าพื้นที่ดำเนินงานโครงการที่อยู่ต่างจังหวัด/ห่างไกล/ชายแดน และทำงานในวันหยุดได้

ค่าตอบแทนและสวัสดิการ

1. เงินเดือน 28,000-32,000 บาท (ขึ้นอยู่กับประสบการณ์)
2. มีค่าเดินทาง และเบี้ยเลี้ยงค่าที่พักและอาหาร เมื่อต้องปฏิบัติงานค้างแรมนอกสำนักงาน
3. มีประกันสังคม และประกันอุบัติเหตุการเดินทาง
4. มีรถยนต์ของสำนักงานเอื้ออำนวยความสะดวกในการทำงาน
